visNET Project team

I am a Lecturer in Environmental Engineering at the University of Glasgow; I trained as an analytical chemist and I develop new chromatographic and spectroscopic tools to support more performant environmental technology.

I am passionate about reaching true equality of opportunities for all in academia and believe that this won’t be accomplished without disrupting current privileged practices.

As a co Programme Director for VisNET, I feel that I have the opportunity to affect positively the careers of 30+ very talented female academics, but also to change our networking and collaboration practices to make them more inclusive. I am a keen Twitter user and think it is a tool that us academic could use to build diverse worldwide collaboration communities.
